A family have paid tribute to a 'loving grandfather' who died after being hit by a lorry in Tameside. Kenneth Hartley, 72, was knocked down by a HGV on Manchester Road in Ashton-under-Lyne on October 13.
The lorry failed to stop but was later located. Police say the driver is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.
