The family of a dad who was stabbed to death in Atherton said 'he was loved unconditionally' in a heartbreaking tribute following his death.
Police were called to reports of an unconscious man at a flat on Samuel Street just after 6pm on Friday (November 17). A murder investigation was launched after he tragically died.
Detectives believe he was stabbed. Today (Monday), Greater Manchester Police named the victim as Paul Marsh. "Paul’s death is beyond comprehension, and we cannot believe that he has died in such a violent and tragic way.
Paul will be remembered for many things not least, his laughter, loyalty, and sense of fun. "Paul will not be forgotten, and our world is a sadder place without him in it." Following the incident, a 22-year-old man was arrested on the scene on suspicion of murder.
