Family left 'devastated' after 'caring' man dies in nighttime balcony fall

The family of a man who died in a nighttime balcony fall have spoken of their devastation. Gary Henderson, 64, plunged 30ft to his death from a flat in Duke Street, Ipswich, Suffolk.

He was declared dead at the scene after being found at 2.35am on June 24 in an inner garden courtyard beneath the third storey balcony.

His sister Kim Henderson said today: "My whole family are devastated by the sudden death of my brother in these unexplained circumstances. "Gary was a gentle and very caring man who would always help anybody in need. "I've received a lot of calls from people touched by his kindness and that's how he will always be remembered.
