A family dispute led to a man battering his uncle with a metal bar.The fracas cost Eamon Reilly a £520 fine at Airdrie Sheriff Court this week.He admitted assaulting the victim and acting in a threatening or abusive manner in Greenrig Road, Lesmahagow, on December 10 last year.Reilly, 41, of Rigside Road, Douglas Water, was also accused of driving his pickup truck at speed towards his uncle and cousin to the danger of their lives, causing them to jump to safety.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
