British families are ditching UK holiday parks like Butlins and Center Parcs for 'much cheaper' chalets in France, with hotter and sunnier weather.
With prices for a family of four for a week in August at Butlins starting at £1,000, and the same week in August costing over £2,000 at Centre Parcs, those with kids, as well as couples and groups of friends, have found a far more budget-friendly alternative, with gorgeous views and hot weather.
Little-known holiday company Siblu Villages is offering affordable alternatives to summer staycations with a sunny park in Normandy.
They cost more than 70% less than a stay in the UK - an eye-watering saving, even with travel included. Families can stay at the four-star Domaine de Litteau holiday village on August, 24 for as little as £322, just £46 per night.
