If you go to share a news article link you haven’t opened, we’ll show a prompt encouraging you to open it and read it, before sharing it with others.The move comes after Twitter made a similar change in the run-up to the 2020 U.S.
president election, asking users whether they wanted to read an article before they retweeted it. That feature on Twitter also is designed to thwart the spread of misinfo.
