A Bury youngster who was forced cancel his 6th birthday party due to coronavirus had his day saved by the kindness of strangers.
Thoughtful locals dropped off around 50 cards, pictures and presents for little Max Greenhaugh on Friday, March 27. It came following a desperate Facebook plea from his mum Tasmin Dawes in a bid to cheer him up.
Max, from Ainsworth, was left devastated after being told he wouldn’t be able to see any of his family or friends on his birthday.
His family were forced to cancel his bowling party due to the coronavirus pandemic. Student nurse Tasmin asked parents if any children would be willing to draw him a picture and stick it to his window.
