It's been a source of frustration for thousands of drivers this weekend. But staff at a Greater Manchester pub have poked fun at the ongoing M62 travel chaos.
The motorway has been shut in both directions, near Rochdale, since Friday evening to allow a new railway bridge to be installed.
The work has caused 'gridlock' on roads around Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton as motorists attempt to navigate the closures.
As a queue of cars trundled past the Crown Inn in Middleton this afternoon (Sunday), landlord Kallum Nolan took the opportunity to take a dig at the long delays.
