Ryanair passengers burst into applause as two drunk business owners were escorted off a flight by police. Officers were asked to collect Amy Aspinall and Thomas Bromley when their flight from Malaga to Manchester Airport landed.
Manchester Crown Court heard that Aspinall, 41, told police to 'f*** off' before bowing to her fellow passengers as they applauded her removal from the flight alongside Bromley, 35.
Bromley then 'resisted handcuffs' on the airfield while Aspinall told cops: "You should be embarrassed by your job, it's a p****-a** job." Mr Preece said officers found the pair 'both intoxicated', with Bromley 'smelling of alcohol' while appearing 'unsteady on his feet' and with 'glazed eyes'.
