Expert details Royal family’s 'interesting' plans to house Ukrainian refugees in palaces

Lorraine's Royal Editor Russell Myers joined Lorraine Kelly on this morning's show (Monday 21 March) from Belize to discuss the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's recent royal tour.

However, the expert also detailed "interesting" plans that the family have closer to home. Russell explained that the royals, in particular Prince Charles, are eager to help Ukrainian refugees by housing them in royal palaces – such as Dumfries House in Ayrshire – and offering them jobs and training.

He revealed that the plans come hot on the heels of news that the Belgian royal family will be hosting Ukrainians in three of their Royal residences.
