Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Jeremy Doku. City have agreed a £55.5m deal with Rennes to sign the winger and the move is expected to go through in time for Doku to be involved in this weekend's clash against Sheffield United.
The Belgian will become the club's third major signing of the summer following the arrivals of Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol.
The Blues have moved for Doku to finally replace Riyad Mahrez after the forward left for Saudi Arabia earlier in the window.
The 21-year-old is highly rated but doesn't have the most impressive stats, with just 12 goals and 10 assists to his name in 92 appearances in France.
