Good Morning Britain host Ed Balls was seriously unimpressed as a debate about banning cats in Scotland got underway on the programme - with fans also divided on the subject.
The 57-year-old TV star dropped in a number of comments to showcase his utter dismay that SNP ministers are considering passing legislation to ban pet cats in certain areas.
Ed clearly had his own opinion on the subject as he and host Susanna Reid readied for an upcoming debate on why it might be a good idea. "Has the world gone mad," the host lamented, while shaking his head in disagreement.
SNP ministers are currently toying with the idea of establishing containment zones. Cat owners would therefore be forbidden from allowing their cats to go outside in a bid to protect birds and other wildlife.
