Scotland is set to be hit by heavy snowfall next week, according to the latest weather forecast. Experts at WXCharts anticipate a band of wintry showers to engulf much of the Highlands during the early part of the morning of Saturday, November 20.

The snow is expected to become heavier across the west coast of the country, with the white stuff potentially falling in south west Scotland.Parts of the north are set to see the snowfall continue throughout the evening, with north western areas being hit the most by the adverse conditions.Temperatures are also expected to dip to well below freezing over that weekend, with lows of -6C forecast on the following Sunday.A long range weather forecast from the Met Office said that there will be a
