Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been dominating headlines for weeks now since news of their rumoured feud broke, with things coming to a head when the latter stepped down from their long-term hosting gig at This Morning last week.
Phillip confirmed that things may be on the rocks between himself and Holly early this month with a bombshell statement which stated that things "haven't been easy" between the pair, but continued to put on a united front with Holly for the show until his exit.
Now, reports claim that the exact date their friendship ended was March 8th this year- and had to do with a frosty instalment of the ITV show on International Women's Day.
To mark the occasion, Holly decided that there should be an all-female presenting line-up to mark the occasion, but Phil went "over her head" to show bosses stop that from happening, claims MailOnline columnist Dan Wootton. "As a result, Holly was only allowed to host the first section of the show surrounded by the show's female production staff, while Phillip was dispatched to a café down the road for a live item," claims the journalist.
