Former Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood once gave a scathing assessment of Stan Kroenke insisting he was only in it for the money.
Those comments came back in 2007 when the American businessman had taken his share in the club up to 11.24 per cent. Now Kroenke is Arsenal's majority owner but is facing huge fan backlash following the club's involvement in the breakaway Super League.
The proposals fell through but the Gunners faithful want their owner to sell up with relations between them at an all-time low.
Hill-Wood, whose father and grandfather also served as Arsenal's chairman, stepped down from the role in 2013 and sadly died in 2018.
