Ewan McGregor and partner Mary Elizabeth Winstead spotted ahead of 'wedding at their mansion'

Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have been snapped for the first time since it was reported they are set to tie the knot today.

In pictures obtained by The Mirror, the Trainspotting actor and his partner Mary looked very happy as they joined his parents Carol and James for a tour around their neighbourhood with their dogs in Topanga Canyon on Thursday.

Mary, who shares son Laurie with Ewan, was spotted wearing a huge vintage ring on her left hand as she linked arms with her man for their walk through the gourmet market before visiting a few shops.The family then headed for lunch at a café during the rare public outing, ahead of their reported wedding day.Ewan wore a cool tan jacket, white T-shirt and jeans while Mary opted for a striped top and cream cardigan.The couple seemed to be taking time off from parenting duties, with their son Laurie not appearing to be with them.Ahead of the reported big day, Ewan and Mary's sprawling eco mansion has been given a makeover, with aerial photos showing their pool has been covered and chairs for 60 guests have been placed on it.Fairy lights have been strung over the pool and portable heaters were being unloaded to help create a romantic setting.Trucks were also pictured arriving at their complex uploading white tables which suggest a reception could take place in the grounds of their stunning property.

While the couple haven't announced an engagement, a source told Page Six : "They are more in love than ever and having their first child together last year just strengthened their bond."
