Two Huddersfield men are spending the first day of life sentences behind bars after brutally stabbing a man at random to death before hiding his body in a cellar among pieces of broken furniture.
Sanchez Francis, 24, and Kieran Doherty, 19, were sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday (July 23) for the murder of 53-year-old Paul Early in the Birkby area on June 19, 2022.
They were also sentenced for two unrelated robbery offences. Francis was sentenced to life imprisonment with an overall minimum term of 21 years for all his offences.
Doherty was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 17 years six months for all his offences, YorkshireLive reports.
