Rangers are set to vote against SPFL plans to end the lower league season early tomorrow - and have proposed their own resolution as an alternative.

The league’s 42 clubs have until 5pm on Friday to cast their vote for the dramatic SPFL plan which will call the three lower leagues on an average points basis - and would also give the green light to do the same with the Premiership should the top flight season run out of time to finish.

That’s a prospect the Ibrox club are vehemently against.And a hastily drafted resolution drafted late on Wednesday night is calling for an interest free loan to be distributed to all clubs and set against the prize money they would receive come the end of the season.Rangers believe that would be a better
