The Premier League clash between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park has been postponed owing to severe weather conditions.
The game, initially scheduled for a 12.30pm kick-off and set to be broadcast live on TNT Sports, has been called off due to concerns over safety following the impact of Storm Darragh.
The storm brought with it an amber weather warning from the Met Office, predicting gusts of up to 70mph in inland areas of Merseyside, along with heavy downpours.
As a result, Merseyside police advised against non-essential travel during the worst of the weather, leading to the decision to postpone the match.
