A live gig, craft workshops, meditation sessions and a feel-good shopping fair are taking place this month to help us feel good.Amanda McKinlay is behind the Feel Good February month and has organised lots of fun events.She runs the Butterfly Room which provides affordable access to well-being practices, such as meditation, mindfulness and holistic pain management.Pre-pandemic, she ran a Wellbeing Weekend in February 2019 and is delighted to have organised an expanded programme in 2021.Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.

Any opportunity for people to come together and do something for themselves will help.“Hopefully there’s something on the programme for everyone.”Amanda is particularly looking forward to the gig by Phillipa Hanna on Friday, February 11 who she first saw supporting Wet Wet Wet eight years ago.She said: “Philippa is a widely respected singer-songwriter who has toured with Little Mix, Wet Wet Wet and Lionel Ritchie amongst many others so it’s very exciting that she’s coming to Paisley.“To get someone of her standing doing a ‘pay what you can’ gig is a huge deal.

Live music is something people have really missed.“I’ve been a fan of her for years. She’s a Christian singer but I always say it’s Christian with a small c, it’s more spiritual than that.
