Evan Rachel Wood has used a Channel 4 documentary series to reveal details about her experience of feeling “violated” and “essentially raped” by Marilyn Manson during the shooting of one of his music videos.

Wood spoke in depth about her experience working on the 2007 music video for Manson’s hit ‘Heart-Shaped Glasses’. “The way it was pitched to me was that there was going to be a sex scene but that it was going to be shot where the camera is sort of rolling and moving and so whatever you see would sort of be a blur,” said Wood of the video, which Manson wanted her to star in and had positioned as “sort of like Lolita.” Wood alleges when the camera started rolling “everything just escalated so fast and I felt like I was in a dream state.” “First of all, he just literally started devouring my face.
