Etiquette coach claims there's a 'correct way' to eat Hula Hoops - and it's not five-finger method

William Hanson, an etiquette coach, may upset crisp lovers with his unconventional method for eating Hula Hoops.For years, many of us have placed the classic hoops on our fingers as if they are rings, but according to the 34-year-old, this way isn't "correct".

I would use a spoon and I would take some Hula Hoops and put them in your hand, if it's a communal dish."Then, eat from your hand rather than putting your hands, that have germs on, directly in the communal shared dish." When having the snack by yourself, William begrudgingly agrees with eating them straight out of the bag but proposes a more refined alternative.

He added: "I don't eat a lot of crisps, but if I do, I still put them in a little ramekin," reports the Mirror. "I think it elevates it and makes it a bit more of an occasion, rather than just sitting there and eating them out of a greasy bag."Alongside this, William also revealed what he deems as appropriate table manners when dining with company.While you might be tempted to dive into your grub as soon as it's served, the etiquette coach advises matching your dining pace with your fellow diners.
