Danny Murphy believes Manchester United players are not putting the work in defensively as they won't face any repercussions from Erik ten Hag.
United were well beaten at home to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, Erling Haaland's brace and Phil Foden's close-range effort giving the away side a comfortable 3-0 win.
Ten Hag's side had started with impetus, but that quickly fell away after a controversial penalty was given against Rasmus Hojlund on 26 minutes.
City then went on to dominate the rest of the game, keeping possession with ease and regaining the ball quickly when called upon.
