A man has been banned from entering Scotland over claims he stalked a senior Scottish Power employee.Paul Kimber, 52, from Kent, was given 24 hours to leave the country after being hauled into court following his arrest.
A sheriff told him he can only cross the Border for court appearances or meetings with lawyers.He was hit with the unusual order after a long running dispute with the energy giant which had one of their employees named in court as the alleged victim.
Kimber appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month and charged under Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act with stalking where his conduct caused someone fear and alarm.He was also told not to attempt to make contact with his alleged victim and ordered to stay away from a residential street in Edinburgh.
