England coach Shaun Wane says he has no intention of chasing heritage-qualified players like NRL star Victor Radley to join his World Cup campaign.
Sydney Roosters loose forward Radley has been one of the stars of the Australia season to date and qualifies for England through his Sheffield-born father.
But the player himself publicly qualified initial comments about the possibility of playing for England by last year committing to New South Wales and Australia.
And Wane has no intention of trying to change his or anybody else’s mind ahead of next year’s World Cup. Wane told Betfred’s The Last Tackle Podcast: “If he (Radley) can prove to me he’s English and wants to play for England and gets in touch, then I’ll have a look at it.
