England lost Manu Tuilagi to a red card and finished the game with 13 men - but hung on to beat Wales and win rugby’s Triple Crown.
Tuilagi was sent off for a dangerous no-arms hit to the head of George North five minutes from the end of a fierce physical contest at Twickenham.
And with Ellis Genge finishing the game alongside him following a yellow card Wales helped themselves to two late tries to grab a losing bonus point.
It was a deeply unsatisfactory finish for Eddie Jones’ team who looked to have put the game to bed on the hour mark when leading 33-16.
