During the performance, H.E.R. gave an emotional cover of Prince‘s song “Nothing Compares 2 U.” Stars remembered during the In Memoriam included Regis Philbin, Naya Rivera, Fred Willard, Jerry Stiller, James Lipton, Buck Henry, Iam Holm, Brian Dennehy, Honor Blackman, Max von Sydow, Kirk Douglas, and Chadwick Boseman among others.
