Emmerdale legend Sheree Murphy has revealed she would love to go on popular BBC dance competition Strictly Come Dancing, but added that she'd be apprehensive about how "intense" it can be.
The 48-year-old, who played Tricia Dingle on the ITV soap for six years between 1998 and 2004, has reportedly had meetings with show bosses before but hinted that the recent uncertainty surrounding Amanda Abbington's exit has put her off.
However, the actress admitted that while "it would be hard to turn down" the offer, she'd openly fear the process after last year's contestant Amanda cryptically quitting the show in a shock turn of events.
Sheree's revelation comes after Amanda shared that she has been diagnosed with PTSD following her time on the show. Amanda left the contest last October due to "personal reasons", after whispers of a 'feud' between her and her professional partner Giovanni, and three months later it was reported that the BBC hadreceived a request from Amandafor clips from her dance rehearsals.
