Emmerdale star Samantha Giles, known for her role as Bernice Blackstock on the popular ITV soap, has been flooded with well-wishes from fans as she shared a health update with her 10.7k followers on Instagram.The 52-year-old actress admitted on Thursday that a recent lifestyle change was "killing her" as she explained she was trying to get "fitter." Samantha joined the soap as a Woolpack barmaid in 1998 and has been a key character on the show for 25 years.

In a video clip that appears to have been filmed in her car, the actress and author said: "So excuse me if I'm looking a bit hot and sweaty but I've just had a very, very intensive workout with a personal trainer.
