Emmerdale is currently in the throes of a gripping storyline as a fire breaks out in a barn on Moira Dingle's farm. The farmer, disoriented, inadvertently spills tractor fuel on the barn floor while being goaded by the smug Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).In the ensuing pandemonium, Moira (Natalie Robb) fires a warning shot from her gun, which strikes a light bulb and ignites a flame.

A heated confrontation results in Moira hitting Ruby on the head, leaving her dazed and confused.As the fire consumes the barn, an explosion is imminent - but will Moira and Ruby survive to tell their tale?Since Natalie joined the ITV soap as Moira in 2009, she has been at the heart of numerous scandalous storylines, with the barn fire being the latest addition.

However, before her arrival in the Dales, the popular actress had previously caused a stir on rival soap EastEnders and was a regular on Take the High Road during her early years, reports the Manchester Evening News.

As a child, Natalie, now 49, attended weekend drama groups in Glasgow where she was spotted by director Alan Macmillan. She later studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.At the age of nine, she made her screen debut in an STV docudrama alongside Tom Conti, reports Nottinghamshire Live.By her teenage years, she had already received the BBC Young Entertainer of the Year award on the children's TV show, Going Live!Natalie first came into the limelight when she bagged the role of Trish McDonald in the Scottish soap opera Take the High Road.
