Emmerdale stars Max Parker and Kris Mochrie have announced their engagement after two years of dating.The actors, who portrayed brothers Luke and Lee on the hit ITV soap, shared the happy news on social media alongside a series of adorable snaps.

Max, 29, and Kris, 37, met on the Emmerdale set, and after enjoying a string of dates they confirmed their romance in July 2020.

The couple soon moved in together and now live in a lavish apartment in Manchester. Now, Max has taken the plunge and popped the question to his long-term partner in a romantic proposal on the beach.
