Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle star Mark Charnock bid an emotional farewell to his co-star on Monday night as she left the ITV soap.
Only recently, Marlon had a life-threatening stroke in heartbreaking episodes with the ITV soap working closely with the charity, Stroke Association, to give a "realistic and authentic depiction" of his journey.
Marlon has been spending time in hospital as he recovers and Monday's episode saw him return home as Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) celebrated his milestone.
However, during the scenes, Marlon bid an emotional farewell to his nurse at hospital, Gail Hancock, played by Elizabeth Boag, who had been looking after him.
