The latest episode of Emmerdale saw Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) confront Craig Reed (Ben Addis) on the torment and horror after he raped her, with fans now predicting a huge plot twist in the ITV soap.

In tonight's episode of the soap, Tuesday 19 September, Lydia was left alone with Craig in his office where he begin gaslighting her and claiming that she consented to have sex with him.

Craig left Lydia terrified when he stopped her from leaving and acted clueless to the events which took place earlier this month.

Lydia then plucked up the courage to confront her rapist and said: "You know what you did. You raped me". Craig then denied the accusations and suggested to Lydia that she was giving him the signals that she wanted it to go ahead with it.
