Fans are speculating that he might actually be a man named Aidan Moore after some eagle-eyed viewers noticed a past character linked to John's father, Jack Sugden, shared the same surname as Aidan.This has led to wild speculation that John (Oliver Farnworth) is hiding a massive secret.

During Tuesday's episode (13 August), John was seen clutching army dog tags engraved with Aidan's name, which he quickly hid from his sister Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins).
