Former Emmerdale heartthrob Ian Kelsey has a very different job 23 years since he left the Yorkshire village as Dave Glover.

It was thanks to his father that initiated the hobby which ultimately turned into a new career for the doting father of two.

Ian, who is now 57, became a household name as the dashing Dave Glover on Emmerdale from 1994 until the character's tragic demise in 2001.

Longtime viewers will recall Dave's steamy affair with the iconic Kim Tate, reports Leeds Live. Off-screen, Ian married singer-songwriter Mia Michaels in 2004, and they welcomed two children, Layla-Beau and Ivy-Julianna.
