Emmerdale actress Emily Head has landed a role on brand new BBC drama The Syndicate, alongside a long list of telly stars. And Emily, who played Rebecca White on the soap, will be starring alongside fellow soap stars Kym Marsh, Katie McGlynn and Gaynor Faye.
Kym played Michelle Connor on Coronation Street and Katie played Sinead Tinker, while Gaynor played Judy Mallett. Emily is set to play Colette in the new drama, which depicts five workers at a kennels in Leeds, who win the lottery as part of a syndicate but are cheated out of their winnings.
Kay Mellor, who wrote the show, explained: "This series is a brand-new story about a syndicate of low paid kennel workers who think they’ve won the lottery but have been robbed of their ticket. "
