Emmerdale actor Dean Andrews has revealed his plans to retire following tragic scenes on Christmas Day.His character Will Taylor met a grisly end on December 25 when he suffered a heart attack and keeled over leading to his death.

Will's scheme against his wife Kim Tate was finally exposed by Joe Tate.As Will frantically tried to explain his actions and insisted he had put a stop to his scheming already because he truly loved Kim, he became overwhelmed by the stress of the situation and collapsed with pains in his chest.

Wife Kim, however, didn't believe him and watched as he battled to stay alive.She left him to die as she watched on. Joe then lied to cover for Kim and claimed she had tried to call for help.

He had been the driving force behind the scene all along. He was seen by viewers back in his hotel room desperately downing medication as he struggled with what had happened.He will now fall under suspicion for Will's death after Billy and Dawn become convinced he returned to kill him.
