Last week, the ITV soap's newcomer was feared dead after he was seen tumbling off a woodland ridge after being pushed by a mystery assailant.
However, the mystery didn't stay a mystery for long as during an earlier trip to the Dales this week, it was revealed that it was Caleb's son Nicky who pushed his dad before leaving him for dead.
Caleb has spent the last few days in an induced coma in the hospital after being found sprawled out on the ground in the woods by Cain who was out walking the dog at the time.
