Emmerdale fans spot worrying sign Eric Pollard is to be 'killed off' after 38 years

Emmerdale followers are seriously fretting over Eric Pollard (portrayed by Chris Chittell), who appeared to be in a bad way this past Monday (November 11) following a tense face-off with Caleb Miligan (played by William Ash).

Chaos erupted on the latest episode as Eric got hot under the collar about the surge in local traffic brought on by Caleb's haulage company and his newly established depot.

An incensed Eric approached Caleb but ended up being dismissed, which made his blood boil. In a bold move of defiance, Eric jumped into one of Caleb's lorries and started showing signs of hand tremors from the stress.Trying to smooth things over, Caleb offered money to calm him down but it backfired, leading Eric to accidentally reverse into a delivery.

Will Taylor (actor Dean Andrews) rushed to aid a visibly rattled Eric who was battling to pull himself together. "I'm shaking with laughter", an irate Eric scornfully remarked to Will while he attempted to help him out of the lorry's cab.
