Emmerdale fans spot 'huge clue' after Lydia rape 'sealing evil Craig's downfall'

Viewers of the ITV soap watched in horror earlier this month as Lydia Dingle, played by Karen Blick, was raped by her businessman ex Craig, played by Ben Addis.Twisted Craig has since gone on to offer Lydia’s stepson Samson (Sam Hall) work experience at his company - with fans theorising that this was his the attacker’s way of trying to control her.
But some eagle-eyed viewers believe this could actually be the key to his downfall - as they speculated that Samson could come across the CCTV in Craig's office.
Sharing their theories on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "I wonder if Craig 's office has CCTV which would have caught the moment he assaulted Lydia?
Lydia has had a shower and burnt her clothes destroying vital evidence. "Maybe Samson on work experience could come across it," a second concluded.
