The character's feud with Liam Cavanagh has threatened to spiral out of control following his alleged affair with Bob's girlfriend Wendy Posner.
Wendy eventually decided to walk out on him following their recent woes. Their relationship has been on the rocks since he discovered that Wendy had betrayed him.
After initially trying to forgive her, he soon realised that their relationship may never be the same. In Friday's episode, Wendy reached breaking point over Bob's cold and distant behaviour towards her and was particularly upset when she found him bad-mouthing her to his friend Jimmy King.
