Zak's (Steve Halliwell) death was announced on Monday (14 October), leaving the village and his loved ones preparing to bid an emotional farewell to the beloved character.
But it seems a familiar face is set to reappear in the Dales very soon. Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb), who had been living with her grandad Zak in Scotland, was widely speculated to be the one making a comeback.
After all, she was the one who broke the heartbreaking news of Zak's passing to the family, leaving them devastated in Tuesday's episode (15 October).
