Emmerdale has released some brand new images of The Woolpack following its recent renovation. Last week, the iconic ITV soap pub opened its doors to show off its brand new look after the boozer was involved in a dramatic explosion at the end of last year.
Now viewers can get a further look at The Woolpack, run by mother and son duo Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Ryan Stocks (James Moore), including all the amazing attention to detail.The popular soap has unveiled a series of snaps, which show everything from the trendy beers the villagers drink, to the pub’s exciting new logo, which is featured on coasters and even stained-glassed windows.
Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter As well as an inviting green and gold colour scheme, the pub’s makeover also includes funky new furnishings and a lowered section of the bar, which makes it more accessible for people using wheelchairs.The soap’s Head of Design, Gillian Slight, has lifted the lid on how she and her team went about revamping the pub, as well as giving viewers an insight into the details they might have missed on screen.
She explained: “It’s about nine years since the pub was last decorated, so I was pleased to have the opportunity to give the Woolpack a new look.” Gillian continued: “We knew that we had to re-use the original Woolpack set as it would have been costly and unsustainable to build a new one from scratch.
