Emily in Paris doesn't pack quite the same punch as , but the material is all there…and it's gorgeous. The plot is as juicy as you'd expect: Chicago-bred Emily (Lily Collins) lands a dream job in Paris, jets off without a thought, and finds herself embroiled in lots of soapy drama.
There are catty office politics—her co-workers are mean!—new friendships (namely, a nanny played hilariously by Mindy Chen), and sexy trysts.
