Emergency services were called to an industrial estate after a fire broke out in a unit on Sunday evening. The alarm was raised after 8pm at a premises in Strone Road at Lomond Industrial Estate in Alexandria.
Four fire engines rushed to the scene, with crews still in attendance today.Officers from Police Scotland were also called, with a spokesperson confirming that there were no reported casualties.A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 8.08pm on Sunday, September 4 to reports of a fire within a industrial site in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire.“Operations control mobilised four fire appliances and firefighters are continuing to extinguish the fire.“There are no reported casualties.”A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a fire on Strone Road, Alexandria around 8.15pm on Sunday, September 4.“There were no reports of injuries.“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.”
