Warner Bros. is giving fans a new look at Elvis! A new trailer and the full artist lineup for the highly-anticipated movie’s soundtrack were released on Monday (May 23). Click inside to read more… In the new clip, Elvis (Austin Butler) is seen disregarding warnings and giving a sexually charged performance at a rally, as a montage of significant moments in his life plays.
Warner Bros. also released a full list of the musicians set to perform on the movie’s corresponding album. Among those on the list are Eminem, Stevie Nicks, Tame Impala, collaborators Swae Lee and Diplo and Jazmine Sullivan.
It’s yet to be announced which tracks each musician will be performing. There were some previously announced artists on the album as well, including Kacey Musgraves, Maneskin and Doja Cat, whose track “Vegas” has already been released as the album’s first single.
The lineup also features a few cast members – including Austin, Yola (Sister Rosetta Tharpe), Gary Clark Jr. (Arthur “Bigboy” Crudup), Shonka Dukereh (Big Mama Thornton), Alton Mason (Little Richard) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Jimmie Rodgers) – whose contributions will likely be heard in the movie as well.
