Musk’s post on Sunday was in the wake of the potential assassination attempt on the life of former President Donald Trump. After one user asked, “Why they want to kill Donald Trump?,” Musk responded, “And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala.” Musk’s post quickly drew condemnation and questioning of how he could remain a government contractor and make such a comment.
