Elliot Page has been praised for posing without his shirt on for the first time since coming out as trans in December. In an Instagram post, published by the actor on Tuesday, he was seen smiling while posing at a pool in swimming shorts.

The picture was captioned #transjoy and #transisbeautiful. It comes a month after the Umbrella Academy star described his top surgery, where breast tissue is removed, as “life-saving” in an intimate exchange with Oprah Winfrey.
