Ellen DeGeneres’ wife Portia de Rossi has spoken out to share her support for the star after she apologised following claims her show is “toxic”.The 47 year old model and actress shared an image on her Instagram which read: “I Stand By Ellen” followed by the hashtag #IStandByEllen and her wife’s famous catchphrase: “Be Kind To One Another” underneath.

In the caption, Portia shared her thanks to those who have supported Ellen as former employees of her programme, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, claimed they had experienced “racism, intimidation and fear”.
