Elizabeth Olsen is opening up about the pivotal scene in Love & Death that she needed to use a stunt double for.
The 34-year-old actress stars as Candy Montgomery in Max’s retelling of the gruesome murder of Betty Gore in the 1980s. Talking with The Hollywood Reporter, Elizabeth revealed the scene, and the reasons why she felt she needed to use a stunt double for the shoot. Keep reading to find out more… During her interview with the outlet, Elizabeth revealed that it was the scene she filmed with Lily Rabe, who was six months pregnant at the time, as her character was killing Lily with an axe. “Lily was six months pregnant.
It was awful. She had a double. And they also could erase [her belly] in post. But she was in a little shirt with a six-month belly,” she shared. “It was crazy.
And she really wanted to do everything. Lily is a really physically strong human being, and so it was like real tension, physically, and there was an element where I felt safe because we had choreography, but there was an element where I didn’t want to do everything.
